This Allowance Race is scheduled on the Turf with 2 coupled entries (1 – 1a) (2 – 2b) and horses 2b, 11, 12, 13 and 14 will run on MTO (Main Track Only).

1 – 1a Entry STRUCTURAL CHANGE and RANGER JAMES are both coming off their maiden victories and its unlikely either one of these horses winning back-to-back especially in this allowance class. Entry mates 2 – 2b consists of MARSCAPONI and TEMORE and if the race stays on Turf we can consider TEMORE a scratch. MARSCAPONI is currently 1 for 19 lifetime but does show some decent turf outings finishing in the money 4 times and top jockey R.Dominguez is in the saddle. HAY PRINCE is coming out of an open company 16k claimer running 7th at odds of 94-1 and now Campo will give him a shot at NY Breds. GAMBLIN FEVER always seems to close nicely but seems to be up against it when trying to find the winners circle. FORTISSI MORE is 1 for 24 lifetime coming out of an open company allowance race from Philly and dueled for 2nd best. His only win was here at the Big A back in 2008. DOS HOMBRES is coming off a win from open claimers at 13-1 and is going to give another doubtful chance at the statebreds. JOEY’S CHANCE has some nice turf experience being in the money 3 for 6 with 1 win. Going 2 turns today may be a little longer than usual but can land a share of the purse. MR. HOOKER had some traffic trouble in his last turf race closing for 3rd. Castellano is in the irons and a clean trip will get MR. HOOKER in the top 3 finishers. THE PLOT THICKENS has a habit of “using up” his speed. He’ll be on the front end as far as he can go setting the pace for the closers. WISHINGONADREAM rallied in his last turf event but flattened out in the final furlong at 90-1 odds. Jockey change to Luzzi, same distance makes him formidable. Main Track Only; CAT THREE APPROACH has a habit trailing. SAGINAW is coming off a maiden victory and ran his last 3 races in the slop. STAR OF NEW YORK is in the money 10 out of 10 races going over a mile for the first time. CAPTAIN SWORD has late speed and if this race switches to the main track we will be looking for CAPTAIN SWORD closing at the end.
