JOHANNESBURG SMILE will act as a single in my Pick 4 and Pick 6 tickets today. Ran a strong third in first race back against a tough group. Figures to take a giant step forward today with that race under his belt. Expecting a winning effort. THE BRUSH was a victim of race shape last time. High headed runner wasted a lot of energy early when having to sit behind pedestrian early fractions. Legit excuse. COOL BLUE RED HOT came from the clouds to pick up third money off the bench in a dubious optional claimer. The race came up slower than a maiden race and there were five horses within a length of the front at the wire. Main positive is that he should improve off that effort.
