| | BAYOU DAWG (9-2) ran well at Delta three starts back before running in two routes at Fair Grounds. His trainer has good numbers from limited starts on the meet and with jockey Melancon in the saddle I give him a big chance to win. LIL MALAGRA (5-2) has been knocking on the door in his last three starts and should be competitive again. SENOR PINO (8-1) chased a slow pace last time out and couldn't make up ground in the stretch on a sloppy track. Should improve here with a clean trip.
