Colonel John looks by far the best for today’s race. This colt had trouble in his last trip and had no chance to show his best. Eoin Harty has him in top form and ready to get the job done. This colt loves today’s exact distance. Garret Gomez stays on top as he knows that Colonel John will be a big factor in this spot. Chocolate Candy will be a nice play to upset. He’s doing much better and will make his second start off the layoff. Jockey change today, as Victor Espinoza will get the assignment. Some nice odds are likely and he’s worth a shot. Richard’s Kid was a huge winner in his last race. He rallied hard in the late stretch and was an impressive winner. He came up with some big sped numbers and will be tough if he moves forward. Mine That Bird deserves our respect. He still needs to be at his best to get the job done. He’s training very well on the synthetic track and will run a big one. He certainly will be tough if he can run somewhere close to his Kentucky Derby performance.
